Those of Sorrow To spirits rise and troubled sea We came from elsewhere, twas to be From stars long blazed, yet knew so well This place of tangled souls, this hell As architects with painted brush Formed from elements of whispered hush Until spiritual masters will to know For long before we helped it grow But of this great most fervent test We tried so much and will our best For most fabled destinies prize Seemed lost to all, in hatred cries We formed ourselves of elements true To feel thy pain and hatreds anew And so we did what only we could To save them all, lose ourself we would Know amidst the world where masters reign Brothers and sisters of sorrow, insane But through our trials and awesome to tell Brought heaven down to earth to dwell |
