The Path

Who can dream the dreams they think of
Splendor and virtue and great things as love
A home and a mate or the world and it's wilds
They'll love and they'll hate though there face is a childs
Everyone needs them you'll come to judge
But I am as I am and I'll never budge
Or so we think and so we say
Having only to blink and we change this very day
One must know it is the power they feel
They must continue to grow to forever be healed
Until far across the wide sea of yearnings and desire
And finding how fleeting they'll learn when they tire
Turning back then to the beginning they'll go
The journey of all to the only home they'll ever really know.
