A night that is cold and forbidden
None will go out on such a night
Afraid of things silently hidden
Things feeding off your blood and fright
But upon the night there is a blackness
And piercing the blackness there is a star
A cross of light full of brightness
And the people come out to gaze afar
At the star so bright and it's companions four
Making up the cross of light
Shining upon the door
Hope emblazened in the sky
This is what they all see
It means the earth will be lifted up high
For the day of the lord has come unto thee
